Support Services Manager – SAFCER Full-Time


World Vision

Purpose of position:

To provide leadership abilities to the Supply Chain Management, Fleet Management, Security, ICT, and Administrative Services functions and ensure timely, technologically-sound, professional and cost-effective services to World Vision SAFCER Response
The position is located in Beira, Mozambique, and will report to SACER Finance and Support Services Director.

Key Job responsibilities:

   » Provide line management and leadership abilities support to staff of Supply Chain, Fleet Management, ICT and Administrative Services;
   » Lead the development, timely and professional implementation of systems for each department/ unit under Support Services to ensure they are effective, efficient, and compliance with WV policies;
   » Manage Supply Chain function to ensure timely and transparency of procurement and the compliance with WV policies. These includes the implementation of Procurement systems (ProVision), Blocked Parties Screening, and participate in all Grants/PNS proposal development to ensure Procurement Plan is approved before the project start;
   » Develop and ensure effective controls over vehicles use and maintenance. Ensure Vehicle Logbook are implemented and properly review every month;
   » Develop and implement the operating plans and annual budgets relating to Supply Chain, Fleet Management, ICT and Administrative Services;
   » Ensure proper administration of SAFCER Offices. These includes but not limited to: Asset management, Utilities Management, Front Desk Management, Ticket/Visa Processing, Visitor Relations and Accommodation;
   » Ensure SAFCER stock and Inventory are properly managed through the ProVision inventory module and reported to senior management on a monthly basis;
   » Ensure proper internet connectivity and ensure all staff adhere to WV ICT policies and procedure;
   » Participation in SAFCER leadership abilities Team Meetings and other team located functions especially in strategy development;
   » Other responsibilities assigned by the Response Director and Finance & Support Services Director.

expertise, expertise, & abilities:

   » Minimum of bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain/Logistic Management, Project Management, Legal, Finance or related field;
   » 3-5 years' practice in related field with middle or Senior Management functions, practice with International Non-profit organization is preferred;
   » Proven capability to cultivate and maintain strong interpersonal and working relationships in a dispersed international context;
   » Competent in the use and application of Microsoft Office computer programs, including Word, Excel and Power Point and overall ICT;
   » Strong analytical expertise;
   » Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.

Work Environment:

   » Frequent travel to the field domestically and internationally (SAFCER Countries) up to 50% of the time.
